Everyone seems to Google, which means do you use Google –the search engine– to find stuff.  For dissertation and graduate students, do you Google alert? Using this Google alert strategy helps you to work smarter not harder.   Learn to set up Google alerts to help you in your research to find out the moment a published article becomes available that meets the needs for your study.  Let Google help you do the research.

For our purposes for research for a dissertation or graduate thesis, you can set up a Google alert to find out when scholars post information about your topic (problem and purpose statement).
