Research with Purpose . . .

Dear Reader

Our topic today is about research with purpose.  When we conduct research the goal is simply to ask a question to see if we are right or wrong in our assumptions.  Either answer is important; as researchers we must be prepared for all possible answers–to include we might be wrong.

Business decisions are outcome driven–to maximize profit, sales, revenue, or perhaps corporate social responsibility to the community.  Regardless, the goal is to make decisions based on empirical evidence.  Why reinvent the wheel?  The goal is to learn from those who have already found the right or most effective answer, to apply to our situation.

When in doubt? Ask. Research.

See you around the Quad!

My best,
