Dear Colleagues:
As critical thinkers, sometimes when we write we can struggle or get stuck. Sometimes all we need is simply a new way to look at what we are writing. Sometimes we need to change our space. What do I mean?
When you get stuck, sometimes when we change how we look at things—meaning the physical space around us–we can change our thinking. So, perhaps change where you are when you are writing. Maybe you need to clean out the ole cobwebs and simply go for a walk in nature. Maybe you simply need to change your office space by moving to a new office, sitting in a new chair, find a new location—anything that is going to shift your space and how you feel about. Just by moving to a different part of the room or the building or our space completely, our perspective changes and we physically change what we see, which changes how we think.
What do you do to adjust your space? Do share with us your effective writing tips! We look forward to your stories!
My best to your writing efforts this week!
With respect,
Cheryl
