Doctoral Publishing Tip #4: Copyright

Hello future doctoral authors.

An important focus for future authors is the idea of copyright.  Who owns your writing?  Who owns the distribution rights?  What is the difference between ownership and and distribution (future sales)?  May I invite you to dig deeper here to protect yourself and your ultimate ownership rights. *smiles*

Two excellent resources are as follows:

The US Copyright Office

The Copyright Clearance Center

I hope these tips are of value to you as part of your publishing career.  Good luck!

Until next time . . .

Cheers!

With respect,

Cheryl
