Doctoral Publishing Tips: #1 Repurpose your Dissertation

Good morning.

One of the best ways to publish is to review your doctoral dissertation and the many pearls of wisdom that are included for which publishing is possible.

  1. Chapter 1:  Your Problem & Purpose of Study.  Why was your problem worthy of study?
  2. Chapter 2: Literature Review.  What is the gap in this review for which your study offered study?
  3. Chapter 3: Methodology.  What is the unique methodology used by your study?
  4. Chapter 4: Findings.  What were the unique findings of your study?
  5. Chapter 5: Analysis & Recommendations.   What did you find?  Why is this important to the greater body of knowledge?

Be sure to review the many pearls of wisdom your doctoral dissertation offers the world, not only in its entirety.  Be sure to review the individual pieces by chapter as well.

I hope these tips are of value to you as part of your publishing career.  Good luck!

Cheers!

With respect,

Cheryl
