Colleagues
Let’s continue our discussion regarding the WRIST Method as we move to the fourth letter – S. S stands for Space.
Change our Space
Sometimes we need to change how we look at the problem. Maybe we need to change our physical space such as our office, our chair, maybe even the floors and buildings on which we live. Consider when you come back for lunch that maybe go to a different part of your office, a break room, perhaps a company lounge. I guarantee you that when things look different, we think differntly.
The goal here is to change the space around you. Just by moving to a different part of the room or a different chair, our perspective changes and we physically change what we see, which changes how we think. When we change the space we are in, we change how we think in it.
Go on . . . put a little change in your life, move on up to a different location. Remember that sometimes we simply need to change our surroundings . see if this might just shift your thinking!
Be sure to share your stories regarding how this technique worked for you. Often this problem solving technique can work when we get stuck in our writing as well. We look forward hearing from you.*Smiles*
With respect,
Cheryl
